# Tracking and rating your kit retailers in plamotrack
> Track where you buy your kits and how each shop performs. Rate retailers on packing quality, shipping speed, and whether you'd order from them again.
plamotrack keeps a record of every retailer you've bought from and lets you rate them. Six months from now, you will not remember which one sent a Perfect Grade loose in a bag. Your retailer list will.
## The retailer report card
Each retailer has a set of fields for recording your experience with them:

| **Packing quality** | Excellent, Good, Average, Below Average or Poor |
| **Shipping speed** | Very fast through to Very slow |
| **Would order again** | Yes, No or Maybe |
| **Notes** | Free text for anything that doesn't fit the other fields |
You can fill in as many or as few of these as you like. A retailer with no rating is just a name — fill it in when you've had enough orders to form a real opinion.
## Adding a retailer
The fastest way is from the order form. When you record a new order, the **Retailer** list shows the shops you already have. For a new shop, click the **+** button beside the list (**New retailer**), type the name and click **Add**. The order is attached to the new retailer, and you can fill in its report card later.
You can also click **Add retailer** on the **Retailers** page — useful when you want to set up your usual shops before recording any orders, or to enter a rating and notes straight away.
## Editing a retailer
Open any retailer from the **Retailers** page to update their report card. Change the name, adjust the ratings, add notes — whatever needs updating.
All orders linked to that retailer reflect the change automatically. You don't need to touch the orders themselves.
Retailer names are matched case-insensitively when importing from a spreadsheet, so "HLJ" and "hlj" are treated as the same shop. This prevents accidental duplicates when your spreadsheet was inconsistent about capitalisation.
